Greg Anmuth began his dance training at his mother's studio in New Jersey. Having waited until sixteen to begin taking ballet, Greg fought to catch up to his peers. This began a process of self-exploration that continued through his time at Rowan University. While at Rowan, he was elected to be the president of the university's contemporary dance company, Dance Extensions, and became the first student to create an original evening length dance production. Greg was later awarded the Bryna G. Goldhaft Medallion for Dance Excellence in 2012 upon his completion of his B.A. in Health and Exercise Science.
Now a co-owner of his childhood studio, Greg has established a strong presence in the competitive dance circuit. As a teacher and choreographer Greg has been awarded dozens of choreography and entertainment awards for his original concepts including the choreography award from the World Dance Championship in 2017 for his piece, "Deluge". His performance career has continued all the while. Greg has performed as a company member with Roger Lee Dance Company, Andrea Mychaels Dance Project, Band of Artists, and Legends in Concert. His most recent appearance was in Asya Zlatina's STORM as part of the Philadelphia Fringe Festival in 2017, and Nickerson-Rossi Dance (NRD) East Company.. Greg is currently training and performing with Sharp Dance Company.
Sara spent her childhood performing and competing in many dance genres as a member of the DANCE! Workshop Company. She continued training at the Southern New Jersey Academy of Performing Arts and recieved her BA in Dance Education from Montclair State University. While at MSU Sara was a member of the Repertory Dance Company and had the privlege of performing works and training with many influential choreographers. Since graduating she has continued to study and perform with numerous dance companies and attends teacher training workshops regularly.
Sara is currently the dance teacher at Haddonfield Memorial High School where she produces two dance concerts a year. She is also the choreographer of their spring musical. Sara has been part of the Dance Class NJ family since 2013 and has been recognized for choreographic achievement and outstanding showmanship by numerous dance competitions for her work with the Classified Dance Company. She looks forward to watching her students grow and improve each year!
Kira is an accomplished gymnast having spent over 13 years competing. She earned second place on floor at nationals in 1996. Kira has coached for many years and believes there is nothing more gratifying than helping a student learn and gain confidence in themselves through gymnastics. Originally from North Jersey she now lives locally with her husband and two children. She is also a brilliant graphic designer and many of her designs can be seen on our Dance Class NJ logos.
Jennifer Gordon has been teaching dance for just over 15 years and is proud to call Dance Class home. Training students in ballet, contemporary and pointe, Mrs. Gordon places emphasis on proper technique, artistry, and maintain the joy of dancing. She has taught along the East coast and helped to implement a dance program on Fort Dix army base. Many of her students of gone on to dance professionally in companies and on national/international tours, become dance educators, and are budding choreographers. Jennifer has just signed on as a Teaching Artist for Appel Farm Arts and Music Center. After following the Progressing Ballet Technique for several years, Mrs. Gordon is thrilled to now be a certified level 1 PBT teacher and to have the ability to bring the program to all of her students.
Mrs. Gordon is the artistic director of Allegory Dance Theatre, its choreographer and an accomplished professional ballerina. She has worked with Atlantic City Ballet, Instinct Movement Collective, KN Dance and Entertainment, several other dance companies and in many theatrical productions. Her performance credits include various roles in the Nutcracker, Midsummer Night's Dream, Carabosse in Sleeping Beauty, Victoria in Cats, the Spring Waters pas de deux, Side Effect Earth, Concerto Vivaldi, and many more. With her focus in ballet and pointe, she is also trained in styles such as; pas de deux, jazz, contemporary, modern, African dance, acting, and conditioning. Through Allegory Dance Theatre, Mrs. Gordon founded the New Glory program that brings dance to senior citizens suffering from dementia. She is currently developing the Hope Dances program for children with special needs and Dance for Dreams program that makes dance available for underprivileged teens.
Mrs. Gordon has choreographed numerous works for Allegory, Reverie Dance Theatre, student pieces, pageant pieces, and musical productions such as Pippin for which she won an award for outstanding choreography. Some of the other musicals Jennifer has worked on are Godspell, The Sound of Music, Once on this Island, Addams Family, and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. She has also directed/choreographed the Music Man and she has directed a dance cabaret for Haddonfield Plays and Players. She was nominated for a Perry Award for Best Choreography award for her work on Cabaret.
Erin grew up in Boston and moved to South Jersey after finishing college at Franklin Pierce University in 2012 with a BA in Theatre with a concentration in dance. She has been dancing since age 3 and is trained in a variety of dance styles including ballet, tap, jazz, modern, lyrical, hip hop, and acro. During her time at Franklin Pierce, Erin was on the Raven Thunder Dance team as a dancer and choreographer. She has performed with KN Dance and Entertainment over the past 3 years. Included in these events is the Annual CHOP Halloween Party hosted by the Philadelphia Phillies. In November 2017, she organized her first Dance Fundraiser, a charitable event for Suicide prevention, taught by Matt Lopez from Steps on Broadway in NYC. Erin continues to actively learn through a variety of classes in NYC and the surrounding NJ area. In addtion to her dance career, Erin is also an accomplished writer and has published four novels.
Hannah has competed and taken workshops all over the country. She majored in Dance at Camden County College and Eastern University. She realized her love for dance after taking an intensive in Houston, Texas with Ad Deum Dance Company. In the summer of 2013, she studied and trained in various styles with YWAM (Youth with A Mission) in Lakeside, MT. Through YWAM she gained experience by performing overseas in Taipei, Taiwan. While in Taiwan, for one month, she and her fellow dancers held street performances and taught at local schools. Even teaching dance after 10 years, she is still learning and striving to improve her technique and training methods every day.
Hannah not only focuses on her student's technique but invests in building their confidence through the art of dance. She believes each student is unique and hopes that she can help them reach their highest potential.
Hannah is happily married and a first-time mom to her beautiful son. She is thrilled to be spending her 3rd year with her Dance Class family!
At the age of 4, Fallon started her dance training at Dance Class NJ and immediately fell in love with ballet. Under the direction of many instructors, she continued her training in other forms of dance such as jazz, pointe, hip hop, contemporary and modern. Fallon was a member of the Classified Dance Company during its intro season, as well as the following season, where her team was invited to Nationals. Since then, she has continued to study dance at Rowan and at Dance Class NJ as well as taking classes in Philadelphia. to further her skills and technique.
She has been an assistant teacher of ballet, tap, and creative movement for 7 years and she is now our Creative Movement instructor for our littlest stars. Fallon has graduated from Rowan University with duel bachelor's degrees in Elementary Education and Writing Arts. Fallon loves to learn new things - the goal is to never stop learning and growing as a dancer. Using the skills she has gained as an elementary teacher and her training at Dance Class NJ, she hopes to instill the same love of dance in her students.
Brooke has been dancing since she was just three years old. She took ballet, tap, and jazz but immediately fell in love with Hip Hop at age 9. She attended Dee's School of Dance in Runnemede until they closed and came to Dance Class NJ. Brooke took Hip Hop for three years at Dance Class NJ and was on the Classified Competition Team when they were chosen to go to World's in 2017. While in high school, she started a dance team called "Dance Ink" which she was the captain of for 3 years. She choreographed all their pep rally numbers. Brooke started the very popular event at Triton Regional High School called 'Dancing With the Staff' that still goes on. Currently Brooke is getting her bachelors degree in nursing through the Rutgers program at Camden County college and hopes to work at a children's hospital when she graduates. Brooke is still taking Hip Hop classes and is very excited to keep expanding her knowledge. She has been assisting dance classes at Dance Class NJ for the past 2 years and is very excited to be able to teach on her own.
Katherine Corbett is originally from eastern North Carolina were she great up and attended East Carolina University. She received her BFA in dance performance and began teaching and setting work in the NC area. Over the years, Katherine has trained and worked with choreographers such as BodyTraffic, Koresh, American Dance Festival, and Rubberband Dance. Katherine now resides in Philadelphia and is working with companies such as Brian Sander's JUNK, Asya Zlatina and Dancers, and Matter Movement Group.
My name is Teddy Fatscher and I am a local Philadelphia Choreographer and Creator. I grew up in Massapequa, Long Island where I attended studio classes in addition to attending Long Island High School for the Arts. I moved to Philadelphia in 2010 to further my dance studies at the University of The Arts from which I now possess a BFA in Modern Dance Performance and Choreography. Throughout my career I have been blessed with the opportunity of working and learning from choreographers such as Brian Sanders, Roni Koresh and Moses Pendelton.
